Insults are hard to forget. It's just how our human brains are unfortunately programmed. Evidently, it’s harder to forget when you have a nice little response to the insulting insult.
That’s what
Buffalo Bills
head coach
Sean McDermott
did. He replied to a four-year-old insult his team faced at the hands of a Baltimore reporter. Not just that, but a
Ravens
coach
John Harbaugh
gleefully laughed at that insult.
Buffalo Got Their Revenge
An X account of Matthew Bove shared a press conference clip with the caption: “city of losers?”.
MLFootball reshared Matthew Bove’s X post with the caption:
“DAMN: #Bills head coach Sean McDermott takes shots at the #Ravens.
“Now it’s a
city of winners
.”
Earlier this week, a Baltimore beat reporter called Buffalo a “city of losers,” and Ravens coach John Harbaugh laughed at it.
BUFFALO GOT THEIR REVENGE.”
At a post-win press conference, Buffalo Bills head coach, Sean McDermott shared,
“Yeah, now, it’s a city of winners. It really is the City of Winners. These people in this town are winners. I’ve been here just eight years but I consider this my hometown. This place is different. The people here are different. They deserve more than whoever said that (referring to the ‘city of losers’ comment) about them.”
Who did the former Bills’ quarterback remind us of?
Reportedly,
Ryan Fitzpatrick
is not the only one to show his brouhaha by going shirtless on the
NFL
field.
Jason Kelce
,
Kansas City Chiefs
TE Travis Kelce’s elder brother, is known for this stunt as well.
Coincidently, it was a match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills when the former center for the Philadelphia Eagles went shirtless!
It happened in January 2024. Almost a year later, Ryan Fitzpatrick pulled a Jason Kelce for the same but different match but against the Baltimore Ravens! How he wished it was against the Kansas City Chiefs!
