Village, ward-level meetings commenced in Telangana to clarify people’s doubts

Hyderabad: The village and ward-level meetings were organized across Telangana to address grievances and receive applications from individuals whose names are missing in survey lists for welfare schemes launching on January 26.

These meetings that commenced on Tuesday will be conducted till January 24 to verify and finalise the lists, ensuring that the eligible poor benefit from the schemes. Four welfare schemes - Rythu Bharosa, Indira Rythu Athmeeya Bharosa, Indiramma Houses, and ration cards are being prioritised. Special teams will oversee their implementation.

At Rampally Dayara village, Medchal-Malkajgiri district Additional Collector D Vijayender Reddy took part in the meeting and assured whoever submits their applications would derive the benefits of the welfare schemes to be launched from January 26.

“There is no need for the people to be worried as submission of applications is a continuous process,” he explained, asking the people to check their names in the list in the notice boards displayed at the village and ward meetings. In case of any doubts, the people can bring the matter to the notice officials concerned to make corrections.
